Dislocation internal friction,elastic modulus defect and their ratio r have been studied in an- nealed and plastically deformed Zn single crystals in the temperature range of 80 to 300 K in a wide range of oscillation amplitudes.The results ob- tained are discussed within the present notion about the nature of dissipative elastic oscillation losses in solids.

Optimization on technical parameters for fabrication of SDC film by screen-printing used as electrolyte in IT-SOFC

Sm-doped Ceria (SDC) electrolyte film was successfully fabricated on anode substrate of NiO-SDC by screen-printing. Some technical parameters for fabrication were investigated and optimized, including printing times, ink composition and sintering temperature. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) measurement was done to check the microstructures of SDC film and single cell. The parameters greatly affected the quality of SDC film and cell performance. The single cell with the optimum parameters exhibited an OCV of 0.82 V and a power density of 0.5 W/cm(2) at 600 degrees C. (C) 2008 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Theinvestigation of physicometallurgicalphenomena forthe CC formingof WCP/ Fe Ccom posites wasperformed. Resultsshow that underthe patentcondition, WCP/ Fe Ccomposite surfacelayerof16 20 m m heavycross sectioncan beacquiredintheoutsideofa hollow cylin der. The surface of CTC particlescould be partially dissolved by Fe containing melt. Thefineshortstick like WCcrystallitesarein situseparated neartothesurfaceof CTC particles.Far from the CTC particles,someseparated, finetungsten carbidecrystallitesand Fe, W,Mo and Cretc. containing web composite carbides, are distributed on the matrix of WCP/ Fe Ccomposite. Fe Calloy matrix of the hollow composite cylinder is alloyed in differenthigh levels.

Ni-Cr System solar selective thin solid films were prepared by d.c. magnetron reactivesputtering under the atmosphere of O2 and N2. Ni-Cr alloy was chosen as targetmaterial and copper sheets as substrate. Using SEM, Spectrophotometer and Talystepto analyze the relations between the selective characteristic and the structure, theformation and the thickness of the thin films. The aim is to obtain good solar selectivethin films with high absorptance and low emittance, which is applied to flat plate solarheat collectors.
