NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF ATOMIZATION GAS FIELDS IN VARIOUS ATOMIZING PROCESSES

A Computational Fluid Dynamics Software was used to calculate the atomizing gasfields generated by a self-designed atomizer and to analyze the effects of key atomizingvariables such as gas pressure and protrusion length of delivery tube on the gas flowstate at the tip of or inside the delivery tube. Increasing the length of delivery tube toa certain extent, the eddy flow region with positive pressure moves away from the tipof delivery tube, which is favorable to achieve the effective atomization of the melt.

Production of nanometer powders with an electrohydrodynamic technique

The principle of producing nanometer powders with the electrohydrodynamic technique and the apparatus were described. The effects of the geometry and size of the cathode and anode, and the applied voltage on the emitted current and the mean size of the nanometer powders were studied. Experimental results show that with the decreasing in the diameter of the cylindrical cathode and in the calibre of the spiral cathode, the mean size of the nanometer powders decreases. The effect of the calibre of the spiral cathode is more remarkable. In addition, the mean size of the nanometer powders decreases with decrease in the internal and external diameter of the anode and the increase in the applied voltage.

PRODUCTION METHODS AND APPLICATIONS FOR HIGH-QUALITY METAL POWDERS AND SPRAYFORMED PRODUCTS

Metal powders of superlative quality, i.e. high cleanliness, rapidly solidified and spherical shape, have seen an increasing demand in the market. The leading technology for the production of such powders is the inert gas atomization of metal alloy melts. To fulfill these requirements, the metal alloy is usually produced in a vacuum induction melting furnace (VIGA = vacuum induction melting/gas atomization) and poured by means of a preheated tundish system into a gas nozzle where the metal stream is disintegrated by a high kinetic energy inert gas jet. The produced micro-droplets solidify in a free fall inside the atomization tower. For special applications, super-clean and ceramic-free metal powders can be produced by using the EIGA (electrode induction melting/gas atomization) melting- and atomizing system. As an alternative to the metal powder route, the sprayforming technology allows to produce semi-finished products in one step. In this case, the metal droplets produced by the highenergy inert gas nozzle system are directly solidified on a substrate, allowing to form billets,rolls and tubes.

低压触头用AgSn合金粉末氧化机理研究

采用雾化法制备Ag(90.5%)/Sn(9.5%,质量分数)合金粉末,使用热重分析仪得出600,700,800℃内氧化动力学曲线,分析Ag-Sn合金粉末氧化前后的粒度、表面形貌、物相组成及表面成分.结果表明:氧化前后合金粉粒度变化极小,氧化后表面粗糙,在“鳞片”交界处出现细小空洞与缝隙,有体积膨胀迹象.根据控制扩散反应的因素不同,分为快速增重、混合增重和抛物线增重3个不同阶段.

雾化角对液体火箭发动机燃烧室压力振荡的影响

针对液氧/煤油火箭发动机模型燃烧室实现了三维非稳态两相燃烧过程的数值模拟,得到的燃烧室截面平均压力和平均速度与实验吻合。在初边值条件不施加任何扰动的情况下,得到了燃烧室压力自激振荡过程,并研究了液氧和煤油喷嘴雾化角对燃烧室压力振荡的影响。计算结果表明:当雾化角为40°或120°时,由于燃料与氧化剂喷雾锥重叠区域较小或较大,导致了推进剂混合很差或很好,不易在燃烧室头部出现局部爆炸性的可燃混气团,致使燃烧室压力振荡强度较弱;而当雾化角为中间值65°时,易于出现爆炸性的可燃气团并导致剧烈的压力振荡,使燃烧室中出现燃烧不稳定性。因此,雾化角的合理设计是抑制燃烧不稳定性的一种途径。

雾化燃烧模拟一体化方法及应用研究

如何模拟液体燃料的雾化、掺混及燃烧过程,一直以来都备受关注。本文试图将无网格MPS(moving paxticle semi—implicit method)方法与颗粒轨道模型结合起来描述液体燃料从射流、破碎、雾化、输运全过程,并与基于Euler网格气相方程耦合求解,从而可以获得对雾化燃烧全过程模拟的一体化方法。初步结果显示,其方法和技术路线可行。

基于YSZ液料的液流/雾化等离子熔射射流形态及微观组织研究

采用8%(摩尔分数)YSZ粉末(d50=700 nm)配置熔射悬浮液料,比较了送料气压、熔射功率对液流和雾化等离子射流形态特征的影响.利用SEM对制备涂层的微观组织进行表征,结果表明:雾化较液流液料输送方式制备涂层组织结构更致密,两种液料输送方式下熔射距离的增加均导致部分熔融粒子增多,其有助于形成孔隙结构.基于雾化送料制备了厚度为30μm,孔隙率为1.5%的精细结构YSZ涂层,可用于固体氧化物燃料电池的电解质层.

纳米结构9Cr-ODS钢的制备工艺

本文对利用雾化法直接制备出Y、Ti过饱和固溶的粉体合金,经短时机械合金化和热等静压成型制备纳米结构9Cr-ODS钢技术进行了研究.采用扫描电镜和X射线衍射研究雾化合金粉与短时球磨后雾化合金粉的形貌特征与组织的演化.通过高分辨透射电镜和电子背散射衍射研究热固化成型后ODS钢的微观组织.测试了雾化粉和球磨8h合金粉热固化成型样品的应力-应变曲线.结果表明,用短时球磨雾化粉制备的ODS钢晶粒尺寸更加细小、形成高密度纳米尺寸的析出相.与常规方法制备的ODS钢相比,抗拉强度略高、塑性显著提高、球磨时间大幅缩短.

金属钛粉的制备工艺

钛粉作为钛粉末冶金的主要原料,其品质及生产成本限制了钛及钛合金粉末冶金的发展.综述了机械合金化法、氢化脱氢法(HDH)、雾化法、金属热还原法、熔盐电解法制备钛粉的基本原理和工艺现状.新兴的生产技术有望降低钛粉生产成本,从而推动钛及钛合金粉末冶金的发展,扩大其应用范围.
