Porous Cube-like In2O3 Nanoparticles and Their Sensing Characteristics toward Ethanol

Porous cube-like crystalline In2O3 nanoparticles with an average diagonal length of 34.8 nm were fabricated by a laser ablation-reflux process to form In(OH)3, followed by a calcination treatment to yield porous In2O3. HRTEM (high-resolution transmission electronic microscopy), XRD (X-ray diffraction), BET (Brunauer-Emmett-Teller), and XPS (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy) analysis were used to characterize their crystalline structures, grain sizes, surface areas, and surface compositions. The as-prepared porous indium oxides were tested for their sensing properties toward ethanol. Non-porous In2O3 nanopowder (about 40 nm) was also examined in order to compare the results with the as-prepared porous In2O3 nanomaterials. The porous In2O3 exhibited much better performance than that of non-porosus In2O3, and showed enhanced sensitivity with a lower detection limit than other reported In2O3-based materials when exposed to ethanol. Good gas sensitivity and linear behavior as a function of ethanol concentration were observed in the porous In2O3 nanoparticles.

ELECTRON CONFINED PHONON INTERACTION IN A QUANTUM WIRE WITH PARABOLIC POTENTIAL

We have studied the electron-confined phonon interaction within a rectangular quantum wire with an additional parabolic potential. Formulae for the polaron self-energy and the electron effective mass along the wire are derived. Numerical calculations are performed for a typical GaAs quantum wire.

Simulations of the Dependence of Gas Physical Parameters on Deposition Variables during HFCVD Diamond Films

During the growth of the hot filament chemical vapor deposition (HFCVD) diamond films, numerical simulations in a 2-D mathematical model were employed to investigate the influence of various deposition parameters on the gas physical parameters, including the temperature, velocity and volume density of gas. It was found that, even in the case of optimized deposition parameters, the space distributions of gas parameters were heterogeneous due primarily to the thermal blockage come from the hot filaments and cryogenic pump effect arisen from the cold reactor wall. The distribution of volume density agreed well with the thermal round-flow phenomenon, one of the key obstacles to obtaining high growth rate in HFCVD process. In virtue of isothermal boundary with high temperature or adiabatic boundary condition of reactor wall, however, the thermal round-flow was profoundly reduced and as a consequence, the uniformity of gas physical parameters was considerably improved, as identified by the experimental films growth.

煤岩材料卸围压过程破坏突变特性实验研究

应用MTS815材料力学试验机和煤岩材料三轴瓦斯渗流试验装置,开展煤岩材料的卸围压实验,并对卸围压过程中煤岩材料的破坏突变特性进行研究.研究结果显示:不合瓦斯煤岩材料在卸围压过程中破坏突变现象不明显.含瓦斯煤岩材料的卸围压过程具有2个阶段;在2个阶段的分界点,轴向应力随围压的变化呈现突变特征;瓦斯压力小于等于1.5 MPa时,随着瓦斯压力的增大,含瓦斯煤岩材料在卸围压过程中的破坏突变特性更加不明显.研究结果对预测煤岩的破坏和预防煤与瓦斯突出具有现实指导意义.

X70管线钢CO2湿气顶部的腐蚀行为

采用高温高压冷凝反应釜模拟CO2湿气顶部腐蚀环境,研究了X70钢在不同腐蚀时间和温差条件下的腐蚀行为.采用SEM和EDS等分析方法究了腐蚀产物膜的宏观、微观形貌和结构特征,明确了湿气条件下腐蚀产物膜与局部腐蚀之间的关系,探讨了CQ湿气顶部腐蚀机理.结果表明,在不同的腐蚀时间条件下,X70钢的局部腐蚀与腐蚀产物膜脱落位置呈对应关系;在不同温差条件下,当腐蚀产物膜达到一定厚度后,腐蚀产物膜上也可能存在温度梯度,从而导致腐蚀膜更容易发生局部脱落.

钒钛铁水转炉炼钢煤气回收工艺技术的优化

系统分析了冶炼含钒铁水特殊工艺条件下影响转炉煤气回收的诸多因素.通过工业试验优化了相关工序环节的操作和控制水平,如:调整活动烟罩高度,炉口微压控制,优化炼钢吹炼过程的加料制度,确保转炉煤气的平稳回收,优化造渣制度及氧枪操作方式,修订煤气回收限值等,提高了炼钢工序煤气回收水平.在半钢炼钢条件下转炉煤气回收量达119.87 m3/t,煤气热值达5 578.655 kJ/m3.
