Preparation of Porous GaN Buffer and Its Influence on the Residual Stress of GaN Epilayers Grown by Hydride Vapor Phase Epitaxy

The preparation of porous structure on the molecular beam epitaxy (MBE)-grown mixed-polarity GaN epilayers was reported by using the wet chemical etching method. The effect of this porous structure on the residual stress of subsequent-growth GaN epilayers was studied by Raman and photoluminescence (PL) spectrum. Substantial decrease in the biaxial stresse can be achieved by employing the porous buffers in the hydride vapour phase epitaxy (HVPE) epilayer growth.

Nanotube-Based Chemical and Biomolecular Sensors

We present a brief review about recent results regarding carbon nanotube (CNT)-based chemical and biomole-cular sensors. For the fabrication of CNT-based sensors, devices containing CNT channels between two metal electrodes are first fabricated usually via chemical vapor deposition (CVD) or “surface programmed assembly” method. Then, the CNT surfaces are often functionalized to enhance the selectivity of the sensors. Using this process, highly-sensitive CNT-based sensors can be fabricated for the selective detection of various chemical and biological molecules such as hydrogen, ammonia, carbon monoxide, chlorine gas, DNA, glucose, alcohol, and proteins.

舰用环氧涂料气体释放模型的研究

选定一种舰用环氧涂料为研究对象,采用MATLAB线性最小二乘法、非线性最小二乘法和遗传算法建立乙醛和甲苯的气体释放模型,并对其拟合效果进行比较.结果表明:遗传算法可以将拟合的误差精度控制在-7.87%~7.69%,是最为准确的拟合方法.研究得到的数学模型可以预测任意时间内有害气体的释放浓度,节省检测时间,也可作为评价非金属材料毒性和进行非金属材料筛选的辅助手段.
