变形率和退火温度对TaW12合金再结晶行为的影响

研究两种不同加工状态下的TaW12合金在室温下强度、塑性随退火温度变化的规律,采用金相显微镜分析微观组织,确定两种加工状态下合金的再结晶退火温度.结果表明,变形率为85%的TaW12合金经1430℃、2h退火能够发生完全再结晶.变形率增大至95%,再结晶退火温度降低至1380℃.

TaW12薄壁板材超声检测技术研究

通过分析厚度约为1.5和3.0mm的TaW12板材的成型工艺、易产生的缺陷类型,提出采用兰姆波实现金属平板内部质量检测.采用数值模拟计算和实验测试的方法得出了最佳兰姆波激励参数,根据测试的两种厚度TaW12板材的孔径-兰姆波幅值响应曲线,建立了板材内部缺陷的定量评价基准,检测结果表明可实现稳定检出TaW 12平板内部Φ0.4mm当量孔的缺陷.对于弯曲后的1.5mm厚度TaW12板材内部质量检测,实验发现兰姆波对缺陷的检出能力受曲面影响较大.研究发现采用频率为4 ~ 10 MHz以上带延迟块的纵波直探头可有效检测出弯曲板材中的分层缺陷,且频率越高检测效果越好.根据研究结果编制了专用工艺,生产应用结果表明研究的检测方法效果理想,可有效检出内部开口宽度在10μm左右的裂纹类缺陷,满足了产品质量控制要求.

Corrosion of LY12 aluminum alloy in sodium chloride solution

The corrosion behavior of LY12 alloy in sodium chloride solution and its electrochemical noise were reported. The development of the micro-pits on the alloy surface was monitored by scanning electron microscopy, scanning tunneling microscopy, and electrochemical noise method. All the measurements show that the corrosion of LY12 alloy can be divided into two stages: a very reactive initial stage and a relative constant stable stage. The initial stage is corresponded to the adsorption of Cl- ions and its reaction with the oxide film and the dissolution of Mg containing particles. The stable stage is corresponded to the development of the micro-pits by the galvanic attack formed by Al-Fe-Cu-Mn containing particles and the matrix. The initial stage lasts about 2-3 h while the stable stage dominates the whole corrosion process.

Corrosion behaviour of LY12 alloy under thin electrolyte films

In this work, the mechanism of atmospheric corrosion; mainly pitting corrosion, of LY12 aluminum alloy under different thin electrolyte films was studied by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and scanning electron microscopy. The maximum phase shift theta on the Bode plot gained in EIS tests exceeds -45degrees indicating that the tests acquired an even current distribution. Under thin electrolyte films, the corrosion. rates increase with a decrease in the electrolyte film thickness. The results also show that the mechanism of corrosion under thin electrolyte layer is different from that in the bulk solution. The rate-determining step changes from the anodic process to oxygen diffusion in the bulk electrolyte film.

Temperature Dependence of Permeability of Co66Fe4Mo2Si16B12 Alloy

At different annealing temperatures, the saturation magnetostrictions and the correlation between the permeability μi and the temperature T(μi-T curves) of the Co66Fe4Mo2Si16B12 alloy were investigated using a small-angle magnetization tester and core tester. The experimental results showed that the μi-T curves had different shapes at different ranges of annealing temperature; the permeability μi of the alloy improved with increasing the annealing temperatures below 460℃; when the alloy was annealed above 480℃, the poor magnetic properties were considered to be caused by larger saturation magnetostriction.

BALL MILLING OF CRYSTALLINE FE40NI38SI12B10 ALLOY - POSSIBILITY OF AMORPHIZATION

Crystalline Fe40Ni38Si12B10 alloy was subjected to ball milling. The changes in structure and thermal properties during milling were examined by X-ray diffraction, TEM and calorimetry measurements. The results show that at least partial amorphization takes place.

Corrosion behavior on aluminum alloy LY12 in simulated atmospheric corrosion process

The corrosion behavior of typical high-strength aluminum alloy LY 12 was studied by accelerated corrosion tests of cyclic wet-dry-immersion containing media of NaHSO3 and NaCl to simulate the corrosion process in different atmosphere environment, and the corrosion mechanism was also discussed. The main experimental techniques include mass loss, morphological check, analysis of corrosion products and electrochemical measurement. The result shows that the mass loss of LY12, with or without cladding, has linear relationship with test time in the three kinds of chemical media, 0.02 mol/L NaHSO3, 0.006 mol/L NaCl and 0.02 mol/L NaHSO3+0.006 mol/L NaCl, respectively. A layer of cladding on high-strength aluminum alloy can raise evidently the resistance of atmospheric corrosion. Cl- can promote pitting generation on the oxide film of LY12 when HOS3- exists, LY12 can react much intensely with HOS3- derived from anions.

GALVANIC CORROSION BETWEEN GRAPHITE EPOXY COMPOSITE MATERIALS AND LY12CZ ALUMINUM ALLOY

The electrochemical approach was used to show the nature of the galvanic corrosion when graphite epoxy composite materials(GECM)were coupled to LY12CZ aluminum alloy. An open circuit potential difference of one volt was obtained in 3.5% NaCl solution between GECM and LY12CZ. Corrosion current data (zero impedance technique) indicated that there was serious corrosion at GECM/LY12CZ couple.When GECM/LY12CZ couples were exposed to ASTM salt spray and alternate immersion condition, fiber glass cloth and H06-2 epoxy primer paint were effective methods for preventing galvanic corrosion.The slow strain rate test (SSRT) showed that GECM increased the LY12CZ stress corrosion crack growth rate.

Corrosion behavior of the film was studied by polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The results showed that the coating remained passivity at the potential range from the open circuit potential (-780 mV) to –250 mV in NaCl solution. When the potential exceeded -200 mV, corrosion reaction happened on the coating. the results of EIS analysis was consistent with the results of polarization curves.
